All pages containing films reviews, gear reviews, or review of other content, items, or organizations is the sole opinion of the author. I would never recommend making a purchase based on just one person’s opinion.

Readers looking to buy a particular type of gear should know their specific needs (which will probably be somewhat different from my own) and refer to several sources before making a final purchasing decision. Ideally, they should try the product themselves in a real world environment before finalizing their purchase. Independent reviews are no substitute.

Some posts (especially those involving upcoming films, film reviews, or commentary) may include spoilers for the content they review or discuss. I try to post a clear spoiler warning when this is the case. Note, however, that my definition of ‘spoiler’ may differ from yours in certain cases. Use you discretion when reading about a film you do not wish to know too much about.

Advertising Disclosure

I post reviews on this site primarily as an information source for the reader, so that you can make informed decisions regarding those products.

I do, from time to time, receive compensation for advertising certain products (primarily thru affiliate links), which in turn helps offset the cost of hosting this site and the time it takes to write and research new content. Again, when do I recommend a product, it is handpicked because it is the best product I have used in a particular niché.

I never let financial incentives dictate the content of my posts. In an effort of full disclosure and honesty, you can expect the following:

1. That I disclose the ways in which I receive financial incentives on this page.
2. Typically, a statement of my relationship with the product being reviewed (how much have I used it?, do I own/rent/plan on purchasing one?, etc.)
3. Truthful reviews – if I don’t like it, I’ll be honest and say I don’t like it – or I won’t mention it on the site at all.
4. From time to time, I may mention and post links to products that I haven’t used, but that have piqued my curiosity for some reason or another. Such posts and links are intended for the edification of the reader, not as endorsements of the product mentioned, regardless of whether or not the content contains affiliate links. I will clearly state when this is the case.

All other advertisements on this site are handpicked by myself based on their potential interest to typical readers.
